At Power Soccer we are committed to protecting the personal data we hold about you and with the introduction of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we are taking the opportunity to update our Data Protection Notice and provide you with further information about your personal data rights and how we use your information.

What is the GDPR?
The GDPR is an update to existing data protection law and came into effect across the EU on 25 May 2018. The GDPR will give you more control over your personal data and places greater accountability on Connacht Rugby and all organisations when collecting, using and keeping safe your personal data.

Our Role
Power Soccer is the controller of your personal data which means that we are responsible for how your personal data are collected, used and protected. We respect your personal data and take great care to ensure security and confidentiality are maintained at all times.

What is Personal Data?
Personal data is information which identifies you or which can be used with other information to identify you. Power Soccer collects personal data in a variety of circumstances such as where you registered for and which type of camp/class/other service you booked. Examples of personal data include your name, contact details, dob, relevant medical information and details you provide to us when registering for an event with Power Soccer.

What do we use your personal information for?

our monthly newsletter

information related to our products and services;

details of our offers, competitions, and other promotions;

You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us at info@powersoccer.ie.

The details you provide are used.

Administer our events.

Contact you about events close to you (direct marketing) and/or events that you may have attended before.

To manage your personal data in accordance with this privacy notice; and

to comply with our data protection and other legal obligations, including periodically seeking the renewal of consent for the processing of your personal information where required.


Marketing
If you are a member of our mailing list, we send you information about Power Soccer including our newsletter, camps/classes and other events we feel may be of interest to you.
We would like to carry on sending you this information and we will continue to give you an opportunity to manage your preferences about receiving marketing communications each time we contact you.

Who else gets your personal information?

 

To deliver our monthly e-mail newsletter, we store your email address with a third party who provide email marketing services for Power Soccer. This third party (MailChimp) do not have permission to use you details for any other purpose.

To help us provide our text services, we store your mobile number (no names or other data) with a third party who provide text marketing services for Power Soccer. This third party (CreateText) do not have permission to use you details for any other purpose.

Your personal information is not shared with anyone else. It is not transferred outside the European Union.

What are your rights?

 

Right to withdraw consent:

You can withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information at any time. Write to us at our address or email us at info@powersoccer.ie . Once your request has been verified, we will stop our processing within one working day.

Accessing, deleting and rectifying your personal information

You have the right to:

access your personal information;

require us to delete it; or

rectify any personal information we hold that is incorrect.

If you want to exercise these rights, please let us know in writing/by email to info@powersoccer.ie. You will need to provide sufficient information to verify and complete your request. We will complete your request within thirty days.

Lodging a complaint

You can at any time complain about our processing of your personal information with your local data protection authority. (www.dataprotection.ie)
